| I met Cisco from "Gardening with Cisco" on King 5 News at Noon. He was in Barnes and Noble and I shook his hand and told him that my name is Chris. That brings my celebrity list to Bruce King, Steve Pool, Joyce Taylor, and...Cisco. Now if I can only meet John Curley and the guy from Northwest Backroads. | | |
| hey folks. i thought i would jump on the survey train since that seems to be the thing to do. plus, i have all the time in the world to do computer stuff since i have stinkin' mono. yes yes, i have mono. i've had it for about 3 weeks and i have never been more miserable in my life. my throat is swollen so i can hardly eat(when i even have an appetite), and don't even talk to me about swallowing. i am constantly fatigued, but i haven't slept for longer than 2 hours in a row for more 2 weeks. i wake up because of the pain or in a cold sweat or with pink hippos attacking me in my dreams. sorry to complain. i just want a little sympathy. i'm hanging in there. it's just going to take time. care packages are now being accepted. i have spring break in a couple weeks so it will be nice to go home and just chill for a week. hopefully my apetite and throat will be fully functioning by then so that i can hit up flava flav with some of you. that, would be ideal. no kissing though. for your sake.

| Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am not back from my unintentional
hiatus. How long will I be back for? Only the fates may know. How is
everyone doing? Itching for an update from ctak86 I'm sure. Things have
been fine on my end. In an attempt to be systematic I will now give you
a list of things that make up my life:
Basketball
Missy
Schoolwork(not in order of importance of course...)
Hmmm. I thought that list would be longer. Really basketball is the
biggest time commitment for me right now with practices and traveling
and such things that come with being a first-class athlete. I don't
even have to tell you that we be eating at McDonalds on the road, son.
After basketball is over I will be filling the void with some sort of
job. Your guess is as good as mine. Things with Missy are progressing
at a pleasant pace. This semester just started about a week and a half
ago so I'm still getting a feel for what is required in my classes and
such, but it looks like it will be a good one. One of my busiest so far
though as I'm taking 17 credits. That's about all. Oh yes, as jxtx so
graciously pointed out, my team will be playing against Trinity
Lutheran in Issaquah this Saturday. It would be awesome if anyone could
catch the game. It won't be much of a game, as their program is in the
early years and we beat them by like 40 earlier this year, but I should
get plenty of playing time and it would be nice to see ya'll anyways.
It starts at 2:30. Here is a link to my schedule:

I'm not sure how to make it all nice and highlighted so that you can
just click on it, but I'm sure that everyone knows how to copy and
paste. All righty, that's all for now. This is Chris Takano saying good
bye.

| Ahhhem. Is this thing on? For some reason I haven't been
able to post any updates for, ohh, the last couple months. No, do
not attempt to adjust your computer screen. There is nothing
wrong with Xangdizzle. The problem lies inside of me. I'm
just lazy. But hey, here I am writing as we speak...or
read. Soooo, I'm back at school now. I'm waiting to go out
to dinner with Missy. Classes are fine. Basketball is going
to start in a couple weeks. I'm coming up to the Fall Conference
with my friend. Ummm, that's about it. I will try to be
more specific and eloquent in the future. Ta ta.
